Explora Horse is a multi-national Joint Venture (JV) comprised of the following 4 companies; Mountain Horse, LLC, Explora Security A&E Inc., Explora Security Ltd, and Explora Security A&E Canada Ltd. 

The JV was formed on the basis of harmonizing the technical expertise of the JV partners and the managerial proficiency of Mountain Horse on security related design and build projects across the globe.

Mountain Horse, LLC. (d/b/a Mountain Horse Solutions) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business and SBA-certified HUBZone Small Business. Mountain Horse specializes in supplying tailored defense and commercial equipment and solutions to meet US Federal Government needs. Our pedigree is contract and program management. In a very short time, Mountain Horse has managed and supplied over $100M of equipment and services across numerous contracts to multiple Federal agencies at locations around the world. Mountain Horse program manage complex deliverables involving multiple vendors, budgets and timelines, removing burden to the US Federal Government, whilst providing the solution to their requirement, on time and on budget.

Explora Security A&E Inc., Explora Security Ltd, and Explora Security A&E Canada have delivered a multitude of all-threat security surveys; designed a wide variety of threat mitigation enhancements to new and existing iconic, critical infrastructure, military, diplomatic, and NGO facilities around the world. This group assists with all aspects of security assessment of the entire site recommending mitigation measures, providing technical support and advice to enable our clients to make an informed choice, ultimately providing supervision, quality assurance and certification to protect client investment.

Explora Security has extensive experience of working with and for national Governments, multinational organizations, NGOs and international companies, including but not limited to the US, UK and Canadian governments. The strong corporate and individual international experience garnered by Explora Security in both benign and hostile environments provides a truly global framework of excellence.

Explora Security Ltd has been a member in good standing with the UK Register of Security Engineers & Specialists (RSES) since its inauguration. This UK-based organization was established solely to promote excellence in security engineering.  This is determined by providing a benchmark of professional quality against which its members are independently assessed across their knowledge areas in securing the built environment and infrastructure.

The RSES is sponsored the  UK government's Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI) and administered by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).  The RSES currently evaluates 11 different security categories against 3 different levels – Technician, Member, Principle.  The security categories are:

A – Protection against the effects of weapons  

B – Protection against the effects of blast  

C – Electronic security systems  

D – CBRN 

E – Hostile vehicle mitigation  

F – Protection against forced entry 

G – Explosives and weapons search detection  

H – Force protection engineering 

I – Digital built environment 

J– Personnel security (insider threat) 

K – Personnel security (human factor) 

Explora Horse, through its JV partners, have worked across all these categories around the world for over 15 years as both prime and sub-contractor on security related projects for governments, NGO’s and commercial organizations.
